I tell you what, take a day or two off and you get sore again. I am so happy to be mentally and physically back at it.

Day 31.... Back on again

I am starting back on day 31 since this week as been so weird. That way it's easier to know where I am. The last few days have been really hard but I got through them and I am back 100%. I am actually really glad too. I haven't felt great not working out and I've been tired. I start P90 today. We will see if this has any impact on weight lose. I am a little concerned that it would be as intense. I want high intensity and with a little less high impact for now. I am not happy that the P90 doesn't have a full yoga so I will be doing that on my 7th day.

So the workout was not at hard as I hoped but I got up a sweat. This will be perfect for my mom!!! I am going to keep working to make this the workout for me. It may take a little tweeking, but I will get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 24.... Yoga!

First day of Recovery week. I know my days are a little off. I did Plyo twice the first week and missed workout on Thanksgiving but then did 7 days. Hey more is better then less. My knee is soooo much better today. I am so excited it is friday. Weekend here I come!!!

Today is our "christmas party" for work. We are going to lunch at pappadeaux's. I'm sure this is on the P90X diet. : )

Day 23.... Rest (Stretch)

Ok I have to admit that I hurt my knee. But it was my "good" knee and it wasn't working out, it was getting out of bed. My knee cap caught on something on the inside and POP! Its a bit swollen but I have been able to continue working out as long as I wrap it really good. Its so good that I have recovery week this week. It should be fine in a day or so. I guess I am destined to have bad knees.

Day 22.... Kenpo (cardio X)

Today I am switching out Kenpo for cardio X. JJ and I have agreed to go back and forth every week with this since it is hard for her to be coordinated. This way she gets a better workout one week and I get to do kenpo (which I think is fun) the next. Went to the store yesterday and pre-made LOTS of snacks. We should never go hungry again.
Cardio X is not the workout I was expecting. It bring together a little from all the other workouts so it is fast (only 45 min) but the high intensity is not there. I see why it is great for the lean program. I'll go back to Core S and Kenpo alternating. But I'm glad I tried it.

I love yoga. It is my favorite. I'm really glad to be doing it too, cause I am a bit sore after last night. I am still a little down about not actually losing weight. I am smaller in most of my measurements but I'm ready to weight 150. : )

I am glad to be back on schedule. Staying really focused for these next 15 days. My goal is to be able to do at least 5 full pull ups without a chair by the end of this week.
I hate working out so late. I am hoping that after this month I can get JJ to quit the church job so we can get our workout done as soon as I get home.

Day 16.... Rest - Stretch

I worked out hard last night. My legs were fighting me the whole time, but who are they? I beat them out and today they are a bit sore. Thats what I like to see!!! I started my cleanse today. I am hoping this really starts a difference. I know I am more flexible and stronger then I was 16 days ago, but I would really like to shed a little around the turkey. : )
I am not sure if I should take my multi-vitamin right after I eat breakfast or wait since I take the cleanse pill 30 min before breakfast. Hummmm.

Day 8... (rest) Stretch and abs and wii! : )

I didnt want to rest today cause I dont really feel like I am losing anything yet. I know that I am getting MUCH more fexible and maybe even stronger but I weight....186-187. At best I lost 2 lbs this week. I know I need to do better with my food. Its a hard time of the year. I must stay strong. It is easier for me to be vegitarian then it is for me to cut out 70% carbs. tomorrow is thanksgiving. No desert! But then Friday is just another thanksgiving. ahhhh. I am just frustrated. I'll feel better tomorrow.

Day 6....

I am really not sore anymore. I loved Yoga last night. It felt really good to stretch EVERYTHING! Happy Birthday Jessika!!! I actually had to think a little bit about the fact that we are 30. I am really glad that we are doing this now. I am so proud of my brother but I know it has to be even harder for him at 38. I do Legs today. I read the post from Mike about substituting it. I dig that he is going for the harder workouts. Gotta get workout in soon cause JJ has a massage at 6 and then cake tonight! We will have to double work it after that! : )

Day 5....

Good morning!! I have been thinking about nutrition all night and I need to go to the store and make sure i am eating the right things. I will get my weight down!
Yoga is amazing. Some moves are hard, but I feel soooo good!!! It was a great way to spend JJ's last day as 29. I feel great. I woke up at 8:45 wide awake today and have had great energy all day. I know that a lot of this has to do with these work outs, but I think that it is also the Vitamineral green. That stuff is the best addition to my day yet! Day 3...

Last night was good and really bad! I didnt finish Plyo and I am not happy about that. I am getting a knee brace and doing it again tonight. I am determined to get this. I am not as sore as I was yesterday. Either the recovery was good or i didnt work as hard cause of the knee. That will all change tonight!!!! : )

Day 1....

I am past tired of being completely unsatisfied with myself. The most frustrating thing for me is that I really work at being healthy. Until a little over a month ago (when I got poison ivy) I worked out 30-45 minutes every day. Since then I have being riding my road bike usually 10 miles a day. I hardly eat any "junk" food, and have an abundance of fruits and veggies. I haven't had red meat in months and still weight 188. I peaked 8 months ago at 195. I know that part of my problem is I eat too much. (see below at my food) I need to figure out how many cals I should be getting. The nutrition guide says 2400.... but is that too much? I have seen P90X working for Mike and I know that no one else is as similar to me as him. I feel like I am in good enough shape that just a "normal" workout doesn't have the impact on me that it should. I like the idea behind this program and I am going to give it my all.Yesterday I did the fitness test and was of course disappointed. 1:40 min on the wall, not even a full pull-up (although I can do pull-ups with my hands facing in), 10 push-ups, 30 in & outs. Nothing was as bad as the pictures. I look pregnant. I will post them here, but no just yet. I have to get the courage up first.So today is my first official day! Got some protein powder and a chin-up bar... 150 lb me, here I come!!!
